Stephen Della Casa is a social issues, lens-based artist born in Canada to German and Italian parents. Based in Canada, Stephen’s interest in human rights began in the 1980s with his involvement with Amnesty International, Northumberland United Way and the Northumberland Hills Hospital Board of Directors. Stephen holds a BA in Law from Carleton University. Stephen returned to producing art in the early 2000s and has published three books, a collection of photographs from Northumberland County, Lost Villages, and Paris-Venice 2010. Stephen is attending Ontario College of Art and Design University and is nearing completing the BFA Honours Photography degree.
